Our oil mill
OLIO ROI
The family mill
The Olio Roi olive mill has belonged to our family for five generations. In 2018, we fully renovated it to guarantee the high standards of quality that have always distinguished us. We produce organic and D.O.P. extra virgin olive oil through a careful yearly selection of the best Taggiasca olives, sourced from our own groves and from trusted local olive growers with whom we’ve built long-standing partnerships.
The Museum
To preserve and share our heritage, we transformed the very first family mill—built by our great-grandfather Pepin u Roi in 1900—into a museum. Here, you can see the ancient stone millstones, once powered by the Argentina river through a large wheel still visible outside the house. You’ll discover how olives were once crushed, pressed and how oil was collected, along with fascinating insights into this ancient craft. A visit to the museum is a journey back in time!
